The oldest businesses and the businesses that are creating the most jobs will be prioritized. The most ethical, gracious and giving businesses will then be prioritized from within each list. The goal is to discover those people who are creating value, and such an excess of value that thy are contributing to the prosperity of the nation. This show will explore how value is created. With over 1.5 billion Arabic-speaking people, there should be somewhere between 50M to 90M businesses within no less than 48 countries. The goal is to identify no less than 500,000 businesses and to profile no less than 5000 businesses each year. The introduction discusses the goals in greater depth. *The Smaller Nations Can Participate... Within the smaller nations, the listings will be smaller and may involve as many as 10% of all the businesses within the country. However, taking a country like Bahrain with a population of 750K people as an example, there are currently anywhere from 20,000 to 50,0000 businesses in the country. If the lowest estimated number of businesses, 20,000, is used, just 5% of these businesses would be 1000 businesses. The show only needs to find ten wonderful businesses per year to begin. The List of 1000 businesses in each country For every 4 million people, anywhere in the world, there are anywhere from 100,000 to 300,000 businesses. Most are very small. The majority are less than ten years old. This television series will be looking to identify the very best businesses. Listings: In each country up to 10% of the private and public businesses will be compiled. The goal is to identify the best 1% of these businesses within each country. The listing, most often will be of over 1000 businesses. Once on that list, a sorting will be done by people within each country as to which business should be profiled on their national television and then lifted up for consideration to be broadcast within global television. The goal is to identify the finest business owners within our global village. Each country will have its own show. The show will be known in each country as the Best Businesses of (Country Name). The highlighted countries are those visited in the summer of 2007.
